In the span of 8 weeks, about 25 students worked in collaboration to create a unique catered dining experience for 100 people on a very limited budget. We were divided into separate crews of lighting, textiles, tableware, furniture, and ambiance. We started with two empty rooms, eventually filling the spaces with all hand made products. I specifically worked on the furniture crew, while also contributing my ceramic tableware sets of a water cup, wine cup, dinner plate, and dessert plate. The tables were suspended in air using wire to create hanging tables. The benches were constructed to be simple and sturdy, holding 4 people per bench. All wood was donated from a local mill.
